The Case of the Disappearing Blogger
I have nothing left to say. Nothing that I want to remember for all time posted on the WORLD WIDE WEB in any case. So I think I’m done for awhile. I’ll be back, I’m sure, I just don’t want to commit to anything right now.
One last post for a bit, and I’m cheating and going with bullets.
1. Emily is 2 today!! We sang Happy Birthday to her this morning and dressed her up in her “Emily is 2 Today!” t shirt and brought her to school. I almost think she knew, because she was a wild animal this morning, running naked through the house laughing at us! I can’t believe she is 2 already. It’s amazing how much she has grown and changed in the time we’ve had with her. Unbelievable.
2. My dizziness/syncope has returned with a vengeance. There isn’t anything that brings it on (that I’m aware of ) It’s just one of those things. I hate it and it makes me cranky and hateful on top of being too dizzy to stand up. Most nights I’m now forced to lie down by about 6:45. I’m not sleepy, I just can’t stand up without falling into something. That pretty much means that any night time activities have stopped for me. Including normal things like doing the dishes and giving Emily a bath. *sigh* I keep hoping each day will get better. Hasn’t happened yet, but I will remain hopeful.
3. The economy is making me nervous. I’m worried I’m going to become one of those bizaro hoarders that you see on Oprah. On the other hand, my pantry is totally stocked, so it’s not all bad!
4. I need a Facebook intervention. Or at least an 8 hour patch or something. That stuff is like crack, without the illegal side effects.
5. I would post pictures of Emily, since I took 300 of them easy over the last 2 weeks. If you refer to #2, you will see why it’s not possible for me to post them. I can’t do it from work, and by the time I get home and have 5 mins to myself, I can’t sit up at the computer to do anything. It makes me sad. I want to order pictures. I took a TON of them lately and some of them are really good shots. Really good. So you’ll just have to trust me when I say how big she is getting and how beautiful she is.
6. Emily needs a haircut badly. I’m afraid that they will chop off all her curls though, and make her look like a boy. She was bald for so long, and the last haircut we had done was horrific. I don’t know if it’s worse to have a bad haircut or look like a Beatle. *sigh* And these are the easy decision years, right?! J
That’s it folks. I’m still reading your blogs, so I’m not disappearing off the face of the earth. Just off here. Just for awhile. Peace out.
